Color: Dark or reddish-brown, sometimes with a greenish look. If left natural, it displays a soft silver color over time.

Grain Pattern: Straight.

Features: Exceptionally strong and durable, easy to work with, stable and not prone to warp, fine to medium texture

Common Uses: Cabinets, industrial and decorative flooring, carpentry, naval construction, hydraulic works, tool handles, interior and exterior joinery, and decking

Weight: Approximately 53 pounds per cubic foot when dried at 12%

Machining: Good (more difficult if highly interlocked grain)
